Mount Agung is the highest point on the popular island of Bali and holds incredible spiritual significance for the Balinese. It is still an active volcano, and the last major eruption was in 1963.

Day 1

Arrival at Denpasar Airport, Bali

13.00:                         Check in Hotel and rest, it is proposed that it is better is stay at places near to mount batur or mount agung instead of staying at Kuta. The proposed area will be around Candidasa(beach) or Kintamani (near mount batur, there several hotels with superb lake and mountain view Hotel Segara & Restoran, Batur Lakeside Hut, Lakeview Hotel and Restaurant (booking.com from RM178),  Surya Hotel & Restaurant .. detail of hotel maps around kintamani  ,

05.00-09.00:              Journey to the peak takes nearly 2 hours. If we feel more adventurous, then you could extend the journey to see more part of Bali around Mount Batur as commonly classified by local as short trips, medium trips and long trips. The longer the trips the higher guide charge will be
SHORT TRIPS,
Starting the journey from the first point or the parking area at 04.00 in the morning which takes approximately 2 hours until the peak

After breakfast then we continue traveling around the main crater, this trip will be take half hour to an hour, walk around in the rim of the mean crater, also this trip is the most beautiful can see activities of human around mount batur.

Alternatively we could climb mt batur first as that is less physically demanding than Mt Agung that would give us more time to acclimatise with local weather and to have enough rest but this will limit the time for sightseeing at Kuta. Other alternative is to extend this tentative for 5 days, more to see and more relaxing
